To mark the centenary of the end of World War One, Orchestre de Picardie (FR) joined their forces with Britten Sinfonia (UK) and the Brighton Festival Chorus (UK) for a unique British–French collaboration to perform Britten’s War Requiem. The piece is both an eloquent tribute to the fallen of the Great War and a heartfelt plea for peace. The concert took place on May 12, 2018 at the Brighton Dome.
